Coronado International School > Uniform Policy

The official uniform consists on a polo shirt with the CIS school logo, kaki skirt, pants or bermuda.

SOCKS

Simple white socks (no designs).

SHOES

Any black closed shoes or regular colored sneakers are acceptable. Sandals, Crocs, fashionable boots, high top sneakers or Heelys are not allowed in school.

SWEATSHIRTS

All regular sweatshirts are acceptable. No hoods allowed.

ACCESSORIES

Regular wrist watches and simple earrings/bracelets allowed. The school is not responsible for expensive jewelry or valuable items. Smartwatches are not allowed at school.

CAPS

It is mandatory for all students to use the school cap for all outdoor activities. Including recess breaks.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION/SPORTS

Students are required to wear a gray t-shirt with the school logo and regular sport shorts up to knee level. Tight spandex are not allowed. For swimming class, a one piece bathing suit for girls and swimming shorts for boys. Board shorts are not allowed. Each student must bring a bag with a towel, swimwear and sandals. The use of sunscreen is suggested. For other sports students are require to bring and additional school t-shirt to change and hygiene supplies (deodorant and a small towel).

SPECIAL HOLIDAYS, CIVIL DAYS AND FIELD TRIPS

We will communicate parents when students will be going out of school for special activities. The school will be sending out a special permission slip with required dress code and requesting parents’ permission.

LOST & FOUND: We strongly recommend labeling with a permanent marker all polo t-shirts and personal belongings that could easily be confused with others.
